About Me

Sevastopol 2010

I am a stay at home wife of a wonderful man named Alyosha. We have two beautiful children,Chloe 8 (super genius, takes after dad),Dimitri 6 (super energetic, takes after mom),that I have the privilege of homeschooling. We do short term missions to Ukraine which is the purpose of this blog. I have taken up the hobby of making hair bows/flower pins and other crafty things and thought it would make a wonderful fundraiser for our trips. We have an upcoming trip to Sevastopol, UA planned tentatively for April. We are hoping to be involved in a weekend youth conference, Sunday school training, and several youth and woman's meetings. We appreciate any support via a purchase of a craft, donation, and especially prayer as we embark to serve the Lord at The Light of the Resurrection Church in Sevastopol,Ukraine. Thank you for taking the time to read our blog, and thank you for your support and prayers!!!

Thank you for taking the time to visit our Boutique. If you are new to our family, thank you for taking the time to get to know us. We would like to share with you what our Mission is.
Our family desire is to serve the Lord in every aspect of our life, anywhere God places us. We have a particular burden to serve thru part time Missions in a church called Light Of The Resurrection,in Sevastopol Ukraine.
Light of the Resurrection Church 2010

To give you a little background,my husband, Alyosha, was born and raised in Sevastopol Ukraine. He grew up during Communist times and religion was not allowed. Soon after Communism fell God put it on the heart of two wonderful ladies to become missionaries/school teachers in Sevastopol. Long story short, they became Alyosha's teacher, and there influence changed his life forever. As a young student he remembers that many of the short term missions team had HUGE impact on the students and many of them came to know the Lord. We served in UA as full time missionaries for 2 years and noticed that short term teams and speakers had a huge impact on the people in our church group. People who we had been witnessing to for a solid year straight responded to invitations given by these short term teams. We hope to serve full time again in the future, but for now are excited to see how God would have us serve Him thru these short term trips. Here are some pics from our last trip:

We are truly excited to see what the Lord has in store for us this time around. A few things that are in the works as possible opportunities to serve are: Woman's meetings, Youth meetings, Youth weekend retreat, more Sunday School training, and home visitations. We are truly excited to see what the Lord does!!
There is an opportunity for you to partner with us. We need support in a couple different forms. First and foremost, we need prayer support. We can do nothing with out prayer. We also will be needing financial support. There are a couple ways you can get involved with financial support. This Boutique has some handmade bows and crafts that can be purchased and the profits go fully to support the expenses of this trip. (just click on Shop) Also there is donation info on this page if you simply wish to donate (click on Donate) Thank you so much for taking the time to get to know us, and thank you for all your support!!!!
